REVIEW: Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash

Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash is the latest entry in this big heaving franchise. But how does it stack up?

The story starts out very lighthearted, although as expected of the series there serious things afoot. That being said, this game leans heavily on the more humorous side of Senran Kagura. To sum the basic plot up, all of the shinobi students have been summoned to participate in an event called Peach Beach Splash. You can choose from any of the standard four teams, and see each of their motivations for winning this competition.

The gameplay at first felt a bit stiff to me, however after while the controls began to feel more natural. There's a good amount of diversity in weapons, and the boost move feels satisfying to use.

Now for the key section of the review. I know you're asking, "What about the breasts?!" I have much to say on the matter. The game starts off strong with an animated intro that is simply a joy to behold.

Although a lot of the in-game assets are recycled from previous games, they still look quite good and very grabbable. The new transparent wet clothing is a treat for the mind, giving new meaning to whatever undergarments you may choose. In the dressing room, you may use a water gun to examine this phenomenon up close. You can also take the opportunity to grope and slap (!) to your heart's content. In my research, I found that Ryouna is very receptive to such treatment.

Of course, this game also features great 2D images, which accompany key scenes. The artwork for this series is consistently excellent, featuring breasts that could only be drawn by the finest artists. The girls are more voluptuous than ever, wearing bathing suits that have their bodies spilling out all over the place.

Overall, this is a fairly fun game with a nice sense of humor and excellent breasts. Recommended.
